In short, don’t use a vdisk anymore use file storage instead.
So the good folks at Lime Tech have release a new feature for our unraid servers, previuosuly if we wanted to run a docker environment we had to use a btrfs formatted vdisk. And well, i’ll be the first to say it got corrupted with little more than a side ways glance.
But times have changed, we can now run the docker directory as a simple folder on the array instead. No vdisk required. So after yet another btrfs corruption i have made the change to a straight up file directory and boy is it simple. I’m all for simplifying my setup as much as possible and this is a welcome addition. Thanks to the guys over at Lime Tech.
